With effect from Tuesday 22 June 2010 the school has moved to summer shirt sleeve order. This means that students wishing to leave their blazer at home, may do so. In all other respects uniform is to be worn correctly. If the weather is colder jumpers are not to be worn instead of the blazer. Any student wishing to continue wearing their blazer throughout the summer may continue to do so.

The students also worked in teams to take part in the popular Ready, Steady, Cook competition which saw a range of interesting dishes prepared, cooked and served. The weekend included discussions about the forthcoming year which will see the school community move into its new buildings bringing everyone together on one site.

Adventurous students in Year 9 returned after half term from a successful expedition to Norway. The students spent the week trekking through rugged mountains and walking in the Setesdal Valley taking in the stunning views of Byglandsfjorden (Byglands Lake). They spent several nights wild camping and cooking for themselves. This specially organised expedition challenged the students mentally and physically whilst encouraging them to develop leadership skills, independence and teamwork.
