The redevelopment project reached a major milestone on Friday 29 January when the new buildings were topped out. This was a traditional ceremony which marked structural completion and involved placing oil, corn, wine and salt in the ground on the second floor of the Curnock block which helped bless the building with good luck.

Seven students from St Bart’s have been offered places at either Oxford or Cambridge University for entry in October 2010. The school congratulates these students on their outstanding success. The Parents’ Education Forum takes place this evening, Monday 18 January 2010 from 7.00pm - 8.00pm in the Lifelong Learning Centre at St Bart’s. Agenda items are Ad Lucem Project and the Ofsted Inspection.

The Y7/8 PA disco calendared for Friday 15 January 2010 has been cancelled. There are forthcoming House charity discos which all Year 7 and 8 students are welcome to attend. Davis House is on Friday 29 January in Luker Hall from 7-9pm and Curnock House is on Friday 26 February in Luker Hall from 7-9pm.
The rearranged Year 10 Ski Trip Parents Information Evening will take place on Thursday 21 January 2010 at 6.30pm in Luker Hall. There will be full details of the itinerary, expectations, clothing and an opportunity for questions.

School Disco Years 7 and 8
The school disco for Years 7 and 8 on Friday 15 January has been cancelled.
The lacrosse matches against Queen Anne’s on Saturday 16 January have been cancelled due to the weather conditions.
The French Exchange Parents’ Information Evening postponed from last week has been rescheduled for Monday 18 January 2010 at 7.00pm in Luker Hall.
