House Plays

Family Enterprise at St Bart’s

Parents and carers of all Year 7 students are being invited to the first Family Enterprise Experience on Saturday 7 March in the LLC from 10am-1pm.  There will be team challenges and prizes to be won.  Letters with more details about the day are being sent home with Year 7 students.

Parents’ Association Presents Cheque to School

Headteacher to Retire

First Framed

A showcase of exemplary work by young artists from schools throughout the Thames Valley Region will be exhibited at Arlington Arts Centre, Mary Hare from 5 February until 27 March.  The exhibition will be open Monday to Friday 10am-5pm and will feature work from St Bart’s students.

Ninth Offer for Oxbridge

A ninth student from St Bart’s has received an Oxbridge offer for entry in October 2009.   Georgia Martin has been offered a place at Cambridge to study law.  The offer is based on achieving exceptional standards at A Level.

Maths Revision Classes Now Running

Maths revision classes are now running after school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  These are for students in Years 10 and 11 who will be taking the Maths module on  3 March.  Classes for Year 11 Foundation and Year 11 Higher are on Tuesdays. Make Your Mark

Some students in Year 10 are working on their plans for the national Make Your Mark competition.  This challenges them to make as much money and social impact within February using a loan of £10 each to set them on their way.  There will be a special edition of the Enterprise Bulletin early in February [...]
